What is AIDA? The Queen of Copywriting Formulae

Today I wanted to talk to you about the Queen of all Copywriting Formulae – AIDA.

What is AIDA?

AIDA is a commonly known marketing acronym that stands for Attention, Interest, Desire, and Action.

In copywriting terms, AIDA refers to a method of structuring your copy to boost its persuasiveness. The first part of your copy should grab the reader’s attention. Then you get into the nuts and bolts of what’s in it for them to nurture their interest. Then you turn up the heat on the offer to spur on the desire to buy, and finish with a call to action, instructing them what to do next.

AIDA’s not the only copywriting formula on the block – I cover more approaches in other videos.
